Paul Akins Bass, Acoustic Guitar and Vocals

Paul is an accomplished singer, song writer & musician, recently relocating to the Houston area from California. Paul spent many years as a "classic-rocker", playing bass and guitar in a number of bands in the Los Angeles area.

Being no stranger to the Country scene, his band Paul Akins & Rodeo (pronounced "Ro-day-o" … like "Rodeo Drive" … it’s a California thing) tore it up in the in the LA & Riverside County Country Clubs, performing Top 40 country hits along with his original material.

In addition to his talents as a singer and player, Paul is an experienced vocal arranger, contributing significantly to Sound Advice’s exceptional performance quality. Once he found himself in Houston, Paul hooked up with Bob and Mike at a local Presbyterian Church, quickly finding a brother-like bond and a common love for music. Mike pulled his brother Randy into the picture, and Sound Advice was born.
